Invited Sessions are organised and chaired by scientists who have a special interest in the topic of the session.

Please note that papers should be no longer than seven pages. Papers longer than this will be subject to an additional page charge. All oral and poster papers must be presented by one of the authors who must register and pay fees.

The submission deadline for draft General Session papers is now closed.
How to submit your Final Manuscript for a General Session
INVITED SESSION PAPERS
The review process for Invited Session Papers is handled by the Chair of the Invited Session. Please send papers for review direct to the Invited Session Chair, not to the KES Secretariat at Brighton or Oxford. The Invited Session Chair will have the papers reviewed and then send all the final papers, copyright forms and floppy disc / CD-ROM for the session to the KES Secretariat in one batch.
How to submit your Final Manuscript for an Invited Session
REVIEW OF PAPERS
To ensure high quality, all papers will be thoroughly reviewed by KES2003 Programme Committee. A revised Referees Evaluation Form may be downloaded from here.
JOURNAL PUBLICATIONS
Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for publication in the KES Journal (International Journal of Knowledge-Based Intelligent Engineering Systems) and the Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (published by IOS Press).
PAST PROCEEDINGS
We have small stocks of proceedings from KES'2000, KES'2001 and KES'2002 at favourable prices. Please contact the KES Secretariat at the University of Brighton if you are interested in purchasing these.

If you require a letter confirming that your paper has been accepted please contact the KES Secretariat at the University of Brighton and this can be sent to you by post or fax; please specify which you would like.
If you need a letter confirming your registration, the KES Secretariat can do this for you as well; however these will only be issued after a delegate has registered for the conference and payment has been received. There can be no exceptions to this and no letters confirming registration will be issued before payment has been received.

or Workshops: CLOSED (was 1 March 2003).
* If you have been invited to contribute a paper for a Special/Invited
Session, please contact the Session Chair for deadlines relating to these
papers.
* Final papers for Special/Invited Sessions should be sent by the Session
Chair so as to reach the KES Secretariat by 1 May 2003.
All presenting authors (both General and
Special/Invited Sessions) must register with payment by
1 June 2003
for their papers to appear in the proceedings.
Delegates will be invited to a conference reception for a formal welcome in the renowned Ashmolean Museum. In addition, there will be a conference banquet in a traditional Oxford college.
